A vibrant event rental business, Party Line Rentals has been dealing with a website that was not supporting the business growth opportunities in the market. The culprit? The website was outdated and the WebRequest integration was not working efficiently to support the needed scalability for the business.
When Party Line Rentals asked industry peers about recommendations on companies to look into for website and marketing support, Twelve Legs Marketing came up over and over again.
Because of its many years experience in building websites that support business growth and its dedicated team to the rental industry, Twelve Legs Marketing was selected as the right fit for the digital needs the Westchester event rentals business had.
The collaboration began with a careful review of the old website and analysis of traffic flow, and key business pages.
Twelve Legs Marketing’s design team crafted a custom take on the client’s website by combining learnings from data observations and wishlist items the client had shared during the onboarding process.
Once the design files were approved, the team jumped into execution and developed a fast, user-friendly experience, which integrated with Alert Rental to receive and process WebRequests, as well other oscillatory functionalities such as an easy to maintain and evolve resources section, product pages that make product selection easier, and opportunities for upsells throughout the website.
“What we used to have wasn't working properly. And then you guys came in and fixed everything. You guys even added more stuff to it, like the ticket total versus the estimated total reporting.
I can see the difference in tickets and why some are not being converted. It's very good. I love it.” shares Layla.
With the old website, WebRequests coming into Alert Rental had vague names, coming directly from the website. This posed a slow down and many calls to clients to determine what was actually being requested.
“It would say it's a black chair.
But in our system, when it gets converted, you were able to switch it to what Alert Rental tracks. It's a black resin white with the black resin folding chair versus what's on the website where it says, it's just a black chair. You were able to match what Alert Rental should show, while keeping everything the way it was supposed to be on the website.
We don't have to call the customer a million times anymore, since we fixed the website. Nothing was broken when it got converted.
It increased our productivity because I didn't have to go back into the website, check and change the rental class number, then resubmit it.” further explained Layla.
Striving to use data to improve the user experience and reduce friction between website visits and actual WebRequest submissions, Party Line Rentals was able to increase the value of WebRequests by 334% in the span of 12 months!
But that was only the start of what Twelve Legs Marketing had in store for opportunities to improve and bring more value to their clients.
In an effort to continue improving the WebRequest integration with Alert Rental, Party Line Rentals agreed to allow the agency team to pioneer a reporting dashboard, enabling tracking of the traffic origin of WebRequest submissions, all the way to order conversion.
This added a new dimension to WebRequest, which not only allows rental stores to see what WebRequests have come through, but also how the closing and upselling process goes. All aimed at increasing revenue driven by the website.
“You can see that our sales have increased by our numbers.
I like the status to see if it was converted or deleted, if it was changed from a bid to a contract, what the ticket total started at, and then what it was actually, the estimated versus the final total. That's a huge help.
And then even because we get two emails from the state from the Web requests, we get two emails. One that is converted into Alert with all the rental class numbers and everything and then one email a confirmation with the pictures and the description and the quantity and everything that they want.
It's a really great tracking tool to see if your sales staff is upselling. I know who took any given order and can see if they are not upselling.
I can go downstairs and say, ‘Hey, why didn't you upsell the coffee maker?’” added Layla.
As trust was established based on tangible results, Twelve Legs Marketing was also engaged to manage the online visibility of Party Line Rentals. Utilizing Search Engine Optimization tactics and carefully crafting and managing Google Ads has opened additional revenue opportunities for Party Line Rentals, offering peace of mind that day-to-day optimization tasks are handled to the best standards in the industry.
Thanks to working collaboratively to form a true partnership, both companies, Party Line Rentals and Twelve Legs Marketing have created business assets that not only bring pride to each respective portfolio, but also drive business value, which can be measured.
Only the things that can be measured can be further improved into the future!
“The team at Twelve Legs Marketing is not only exceptionally talented but also incredibly friendly and helpful. Their approach to client collaboration is refreshing, as they always go above and beyond to understand our needs and goals.
What sets them apart is their commitment to doing what we ask for while bringing in their own creative insights to enhance the overall strategy.
If you haven't already implemented WebRequest, you should do it because it's a lot easier versus having a basic form. It's so much easier!”
