In the fast-paced world of event rentals where every dollar counts, being productive and knowing your numbers is important. This is especially true for Party Line Rentals, a New York-based event rental company known for their unmatched commitment to efficiency and customer satisfaction. In the heart of a chaotic time at their Westchester facility, Twelve Legs Marketing appeared as the perfect marketing technology partner in a project that required accuracy, speed, and excellence in all areas.
“Twelve Legs Marketing knows exactly what we want, and exactly how we want it converted into Alert Rental. There are actually a few different things that you did for us and our website.
You guys do really well with customization.
I mean the whole team. You guys are amazing.”~ Layla Tabacovic, Marketing and Advertising Assistant, Party Line Rentals
The Challenge
When Party Line Rentals asked industry peers about recommendations on companies to research for top-notch websites and marketing support, Twelve Legs Marketing came up over and over again.
Because of its many years experience in building websites that support business growth and its dedicated team to the rental industry, Party Line Rentals chose Twelve Legs Marketing as the right fit for their digital needs.
The Solution
The collaboration began with a careful review and analysis of the old website and its statistics, including clicks and traffic flow.
Twelve Legs Marketing’s design team worked with Party Line Rentals to craft a custom website concept by combining data observations with wishlist items the client had previously shared during the onboarding process.
Once the design files were approved, the team began executing on the finished plans, developing a fast, user-friendly experience. This new system, now integrated with Alert Rental, grants access to receiving and processing WebRequests, as well other supporting functionalities, such as an easy to maintain and evolve resources section, product pages that make product selection easier, and opportunities for upsells throughout the website. onboarding process.
“What we used to have wasn’t working properly. And then you guys came in and fixed everything. You guys even added more stuff to it, like the ticket total versus the estimated total reporting. I can see the difference in tickets and why some are not being converted. It’s very good. I love it.” shares Layla.
Increased Productivity
With the old website, WebRequests coming into Alert Rental had confusing names coming directly from the website. This slowed productivity and many required follow-up calls with clients to determine what was actually being requested.
“It would say it’s a black chair. But in our system, when it gets converted, you were able to switch it to what Alert Rental tracks. It’s a black resin white with the black resin folding chair versus what’s on the website where it says, it’s just a black chair. You were able to match what Alert Rental should show, while keeping everything the way it was supposed to be on the website.
We don’t have to call the customer a million times anymore, since we fixed the website. Nothing was broken when it got converted. It increased our productivity because I didn’t have to go back into the website, check and change, the rental class number, then resubmit it.” further explained Layla.
All in the Name of Increasing Sales
In an effort to continue improving the WebRequest integration with Alert Rental, Party Line Rentals agreed to allow the agency team to create and implement a reporting dashboard, allowing the tracking all the way from where the traffic clicked from to when the order converted via WebRequest. This introduced a new dimension to WebRequest that allows rental stores to view incoming requests and understand the closing and upselling processes, all aimed at boosting revenue for the website.
“You can see that our sales have increased by our numbers. I like the status to see if it was converted or deleted, if it was changed from a bid to a contract, the ticket total what it started at, and then what it was actually the estimated versus the final total. That’s a huge help. And then even because we get two emails from the state from the Web requests, we get two emails. One that is converted into Alert with all the rental class numbers and everything and then one email a confirmation with the pictures and the description and the quantity and everything that they want.
It’s a really great tracking tool to see if your sales staff is upselling. I know who took any given order and can see if they are not upselling. I can go downstairs and say, ‘Hey, why didn’t you upsell the coffee maker?” added Layla.
The Project That Kept Growing
The Conclusion
Thanks to collaborating to become true partners, both Partly Line Rentals and Twelve Legs Marketing have created business assets that not only brings pride to each respective portfolio, but also drives measurable business value. Only the things that can be measured can be further improved into the future!
“The team at Twelve Legs Marketing is not only exceptionally talented but also incredibly friendly and helpful. Their approach to client collaboration is refreshing, as they always go above and beyond to understand our needs and goals. What sets them apart is their commitment to doing what we ask for while bringing in their own creative insights to enhance the overall strategy. If you haven’t already implemented WebRequest, you should do it because it’s a lot easier versus having a basic form. It’s so much easier!”
